Hi! Thanks for checking out my site, and for following me on Instagram @Sprinkle_twist. My name is Kathleen Kennedy, I live in Chicago and work full time in the advertising industry. Aside from work, I spend my time exercising, hanging out with my family (I am the second of four kids, three girls and one boy and I am a very proud Aunt!) and friends, and traveling when possible!
My love for food began at a very young age as I have been an avid baker since before I can remember. I decided to create an Instagram dedicated to my baking ventures when I was home for break my Junior year of college (who remembers @beanbakes ??). I originally focused solely on baking, and posting photographs of recipes I would create (peep my first post from May 2014, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies!).
While I still have a great love for baking, my blog has evolved over the years since graduating college in 2015, and living on my own. In needing to prepare myself real meals (and not just baked goods!), I began creating and posting breakfast, lunch and dinner recipes in addition to sweet treats. I aim for convenient, affordable ingredients, and time sensitive recipes (with the occasional exception, of course) that are attainable for individuals with a busy lifestyle.
